Horse Hair Baby Carier It's collected from the Shui Minority, from a region in San-du County, Guizhou province. The Shui specializes in a technique called "horse-tail-couch stiching. "This technique entails using the hair from a white horse's tail as the center sheath, then taking silk threads to coil around and tightly cover the hair from the horse's tail. The result is a lengthy and flexible embroidered pattern atop a satin cloth.
