The coat is made with purplish red cloth locally woven and dyed but with no sheen. The ornamental designs on the collar and along the front are wider than those of other areas. There are a number of embroidery skills, but the traditional one used in embroidering festive dress is called "Dazi" skill. The patterns are chieflly flowers and plants and for the most part have a moire effect. Both green and red colours are used; green leaves match with red flowers. The embroidery is done with light-coloured floss silk on the borders and dark-coloured floss silk in the central part. The borders of flowers and leaves are embroidered with white floss silk, so the embroidery gives a feeling of softness and luxury. This Style of dress is mainly distributed over Kaitang townships in Panghai district of Kaili county , China. Condition: Shoulder
